Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 4 cups cabbage, cubed
2. 2 cups tart apples (unpeeled and cubed)
3. 1 cup water
4. 1/4 cup butter
5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
6. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
7. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Directions:
1. in a pot stir in 1 cup water add cabbage, cover and cook until cabbage is crisp but tender, drain.
2. in a pan add the butter, salt, nutmeg stir until butter is melted.
3. add the apples, cover and stir occasionally until apples are crisp tender.
4. sprinkle with parsley and serve while hot.
