Crockpot Chili Verde

 

Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 1 boneless pork roast
2. 1/2 large onion, chopped fine
3. 5 garlic cloves, chopped
4. 2 tablespoons lime juice
5. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
6. 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (Taco Seasoning Mix)
7. 4 ounces diced green chilies
8. 1 cup salsa verde
9. 1/2 cup water
10. 1 cup cilantro, chopped

Directions:
1. Cut up roast into large chunks.
2. Place pork pieces into crockpot.
3. Sprinkle meat with spices.
4. Add all other ingredients.
5. Cook on low for 6 hours.
6. Remove pork pieces and shred with forks. Return shredded pork to crockpot. Stir until well mixed.
7. Serve with slotted spoon over rice and black beans with shredded jack cheese or in tortillas with cheese.
