Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 1 lb fresh baby carrots
2. 1/4 cup water
3. 1/4 cup honey
4. 2 tablespoons butter
5. 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar, firmly packed
6. 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
8. 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, combine all ingredients over medium-high heat on stovetop.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to medium; cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes, or until carrots are almost tender.
4. Cook, uncovered, for approximately 10 minutes longer, or until carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to a glaze.
