Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 1 lb fresh tomato
2. 2 tablespoons tomato paste
3. cinnamon
4. 2 shallots, chopped
5. 2/3 cup red wine
6. 1 garlic clove, minced
7. 1 teaspoon rosemary
8. 12 ounces small mushrooms
9. salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Peel and chop the tomatoes.
2. In a saucepan, combine tomatoes, wine, tomato paste, garlic, shallots and a pinch each of cinnamon, salt and pepper.
3. Simmer for 8 minutes.
4. Add rosemary and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are just barely tender.
