Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 2 eggs, beaten
2. 1 medium onion, finely chopped
3. 3 teaspoons dried basil
4. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
8. 3 lbs ground beef
9. 8 slices provolone cheese
10. 8 sandwich buns, split
11. lettuce
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.
2. Crumble beef over mixture; mix well.
3. Shape into eight patties.
4. Grill, uncovered, over medium-hot heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
5. Top each patty with a cheese slice; grill 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted.
6. Grill rolls cut side down for 1-2 minutes or until toasted.
7. Top with lettuce& burgers.
