Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 1 lb beef sausages or 1 lb pork sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
2. 1 tablespoon olive oil or 1 tablespoon canola oil
3. 1 green pepper, chopped
4. 1/2 cup tasty red wine
5. 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
6. 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
7. 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Brown sausages in oil.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir.
3. Boil gently, uncovered, for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often.
4. Serve over hot rice or pasta.
