Ingredients for 35 servings:
1. 2/3 cup shortening
2. 2/3 cup butter
3. 1 cup sugar
4. 1 cup brown sugar
5. 2 eggs
6. 2 teaspoons vanilla
7. 3 1/2 cups flour
8. 1 teaspoon baking soda
9. 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
10. 3/4 cup nuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease cookie pan.
2. Cream shortening, butter, and sugars in a large bowl with electric mixer until creamy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time while mix is mixing. Add vanilla.
4. Combine flour and baking soda in medium bowl. Add flour mixture to creamy dough gradually, using a wooden spoon.
5. Once dough is formed, add chocolate chips and nuts, and stir til incorperated.
6. Form 1 1/2 inch balls and place on greased sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten ball using your palm.
7. Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are light brown.
