Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 6 slices bacon, finely chopped
2. 1 cup finely chopped onion
3. 1/4 cup flour
4. 2 teaspoons season salt (Lawrys preferred)
5. 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper (Lawrys preferred)
6. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
7. 1/4 teaspoon parsley
8. 1 3/4 cups milk
9. 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen spinach, cooked and drained
Directions:
1. In a medium skillet, cook bacon until almost crisp.
2. Add onion to bacon and cook until onion is tender about 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add flour and seasonings; blend well.
5. Gradually stir in milk; cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
6. Add spinach and mix well.
7. If too thick add more milk.
