Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 acorn squash, halved
2. 1/2 teaspoon salt
3. 2 tart apples, thinly sliced
4. 2 tablespoons raisins
5. 3 tablespoons butter
6. 4 tablespoons brown sugar
7. 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
8. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
1. Sprinkle squash with salt.
2. In skillet, saute apples and raisins in butter.
3. Add sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, cook for 5 minutes.
4. Spoon into squash halves.
5. Place in baking dish.
6. Bake at 350* for about 1 hour, until tender.
