Ingredients for 10 servings:
1. 1 1/2 lbs asparagus, trimmed
2. 1 tablespoon reduced-calorie mayonnaise
3. 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
4. 1/4 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
5. 3 medium scallions, thinly sliced
6. 1/2 medium jalapeno pepper, minced
7. 1 garlic clove, minced
8. 1/8 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
9. 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
10. 1/8 teaspoon table salt, to taste
11. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Bring large pot of water to boil.
2. Add asparagus and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
3. Drain.
4. Place asparagus into food processor and purée until smooth.
5. Stir in remaining ingredients and serve.
6. Yields 1/4 cup per serving.
