Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 2 lbs stewing beef
2. 2 cups baby carrots
3. 2 cups parsnips, chopped
4. 1 cup celery, chopped
5. 2 medium onions, chopped
6. 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
7. 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
8. 3/4 cup Burgundy wine
9. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
10. 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
11. 1 teaspoon ground mustard
12. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
13. 1/4 cup water
14. 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together except flour and water in 6 qt slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
3. Mix water and flour and gradually stir into beef mixture.
