Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 2 cups potato and leek soup
2. 3 cups milk
3. freshly ground nutmeg
4. 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
5. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
6. 2 cups medium cheddar or 2 cups old cheddar cheese
7. salt and pepper
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine soup base and milk with nutmeg; bring to a simmer.
2. Whisk in hot sauce and cumin; stir in cheese(do not let soup boil after cheese is added).
3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
