Ingredients for 18 servings:
1. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2. 1 tablespoon margarine
3. 1/4 cup brown sugar
4. 1 teaspoon ginger
5. 1/2 teaspoon allspice
6. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
7. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
8. 1 egg
9. 1 cup spelt flour
10. 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
11. 2 bananas
12. 1/3 cup applesauce
13. 1/4 cup chocolate chips
14. 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
15. 1/4 cup raisins or 1/4 cup dried cranberries
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In large bowl, cream margarine, baking soda, ginger, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg until combined.
3. Add sugar and egg and mix until blended.
4. Mash bananas and add to bowl with applesauce.
5. Add oats and flour.
6. Add chocolate chips, sunflower seeds and raisins.
7. Bake for 10 minutes. Cookies will be chewy and delicious!
