Ingredients for 2 servings:
1. 1 teaspoon chinese brown bean sauce
2. 1 stalk cilantro (cut into 1 cm long) or 1 stalk fresh coriander (cut into 1 cm long)
3. 1 stalk spring onion (cut into small pieces)
4. 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
5. 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
6. ginger (cube)
7. 2 ounces chicken stock
8. sugar (to taste)
9. pepper (to taste)
10. chopped chili
11. oil
Directions:
1. Heat oil.
2. Sauté ginger till brown.
3. Add garlic, bean sauce and coriander.
4. Continue to sauté.
5. (Add chili, if desired).
6. Now add chicken stock and oyster sauce.
7. Simmer till reduced by half.
8. Add sugar to reduce the saltiness and pepper to taste.
