Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 4 lbs chuck roast
2. salt & pepper
3. 2 onions, sliced
4. 1 1/2 cups beef broth
5. 1/3 cup brown sugar
6. 1/3 cup vinegar
7. 8 gingersnaps
Directions:
1. Sprinkle roast on all sides with salt & pepper.
2. Place roast in crock pot.
3. Add all other ingredients except gingersnaps.
4. Cover and cook 5-6 hours on high, turning roast occasionally.
5. Remove roast.
6. Add crumbled gingersnaps to sauce in crockpot.
7. Stir until sauce thickens.
8. Slice meat and spoon sauce over slices.
