Ingredients for 16 servings:
1. 3 cups regular grits (not the quick variety)
2. 12 cups water
3. 2 cups heavy whipping cream
4. 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
5. 3 -4 tablespoons butter
6. 6 teaspoons salt
Directions:
1. Soften the butter.
2. Combine all ingredients except the shredded cheese.
3. Cook on low in the crock pot for 6-8 hours stirring occasionally.
4. About 15 – 30 minutes before serving stir in shredded cheese. Enjoy!
