Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 6 pieces bread (whole grain, sourdough, white bread, etc)
2. 2 eggs
3. 1/2 cup milk
4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
5. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
6. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
7. 1/8 teaspoon clove
8. butter
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a pan.
2. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and spices.
3. Dip a piece of bread into the mixture and lightly coat with mixture. Fry in a pan until browned.
4. Serve with maple syrup.
