Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 cups yellow split peas
2. 1 quart chicken stock
3. 1 teaspoon salt
4. 1 lb bacon, chopped
5. 1 stalk celery, chopped
6. 3 medium leeks, chopped
7. 3 medium carrots, chopped
8. 3 medium potatoes, chopped
9. 1 large onion, chopped
10. 1 lb Canadian bacon, chopped
11. 4 ounces vienna sausages, chopped
12. salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
2. Serve.
