Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 2 cups white sugar
2. 1/2 cup butter
3. 1/2 cup milk
4. 1/2 cup cocoa
5. 1 teaspoon vanilla
6. 1 cup coconut
7. 3 cups rolled oats (or as much as needed for a fairly stiff batter)
Directions:
1. Boil sugar, butter and milk for a few minutes.
2. Remove from heat and add cocoa and vanilla.
3. Next add coconut and rolled oats. You need to have a fairly stiff batter, so if 3 cups of oats is not enough add a little bit more.
4. Drop on waxed paper and let cool.
