Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 4 boneless pork chops
2. 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
3. 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
4. 1 teaspoon sugar
5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
6. 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
7. 4 tablespoons cornstarch
8. 1 cup oil (for frying)
9. cilantro (to garnish, and additional flavor)
Directions:
1. Pound pork chops to thin them a bit; combine next five ingredients and marinate the chops in the mixture for 30 minutes, then drain.
2. Dredge pork chops with cornstarch.
3. Heat oil in a wok or skillet; fry chops until golden brown; cook about 5 minutes each side.
4. Drain on paper towel.
5. Place on a platter and garnish with cilantro.
