Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 1 lb sauerkraut, fresh or canned
2. 2 tablespoons butter
3. 1 cup pineapple juice
4. 1/4 cup crushed pineapple
5. 1 tablespoon minced parsley
Directions:
1. Rinse sauerkraut in warm water and drain.
2. In a covered pan, simmer kraut in butter for 30 minutes.
3. Add pinapple and juice and simmer for 30 minutes longer.
4. Add parsley and serve hot as a sidedish for ham.
