Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 3 medium garlic cloves, minced
2. 2 teaspoons basil, dried
3. 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
5. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
6. 2 1/2 lbs boneless chuck roast, all visible fat removed
7. 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
8. 16 ounces spaghetti
Directions:
1. Sprinkle the garlic, basil, oregano and red pepper flakes over both sides of the meat.
2. Pour 1 cup spaghetti sauce into a crock pot.
3. Place the meat over the sauce.
4. Pour the remaining 1/2 cup sauce over meat.
5. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the meat is fork tender.
6. Transfer the meat to a cutting board and Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
7. Spoon off and discard any fat from sauce in the crock pot.
8. About 12 minutes before serving time, prepare spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
