Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 1/2 lb ground turkey
2. 1 medium onion, chopped
3. 1 garlic clove, minced
4. 14 ounces petite diced tomatoes
5. 2 teaspoons chili powder
6. 1 teaspoon cumin
7. 1/4 teaspoon oregano
8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
9. 14 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
10. shredded cheese
11. low-fat sour cream
12. olive
13. tortilla
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan brown ground turkey & onion.
2. Add remaining ingredients, stir and simmer (uncovered) for about 10 – 15 minutes until thickened.
3. Serve with shredded cheese, low-fat sour cream, and olives. Your family can enjoy the mixture in a tortilla, if desired.
