Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 teaspoons olive oil
2. 1 lb beef stew meat
3. 1/4 cup rough chopped onion
4. 1 garlic clove, minced
5. 1/2 tablespoon flour
6. 3/4 cup water
7. 1/2 cup red wine
8. 1/2 cup beef broth
9. 1/2 cup sun-dried tomato
10. 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
11. 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
12. 3/4 teaspoon rosemary
13. 1 bay leaf
14. 1/2 teaspoon salt
15. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. Brown beef in olive oil.
2. Add onion and cook 7 minutes.
3. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
4. Add flour, cook 2 minutes.
5. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer 1 hour and remove tomatoes. Set aside.
6. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
