Ingredients for 3 servings:
1. 200 g panir, mashed
2. 3 medium onions, peeled, washed and chopped
3. 2 medium tomatoes, washed and chopped
4. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
5. 1 1/2 tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves
6. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
7. 1 green chili, washed, ends trimmed and chopped
8. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
9. 1/2 tablespoon oil
10. 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, washed and chopped
11. salt
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Once it is hot, add cumin seeds and green chilli and allow to crackle.
3. Once they stop crackling, toss in the onion and stir-fry until lightly browned.
4. Add all the masala powders and stir-fry well.
5. Add kasoori methi and mix well. Allow to cook for 3 minutes.
6. Then toss in the tomatoes and mix well.
7. Add the mashed paneer, mix gently, cover and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
8. Uncover, mix well, garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot with rotis.
