Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 3 medium avocados, halved and pitted
2. 1 1/4 teaspoons minced serrano chilies, seeded
3. 3/4 medium tomatoes, diced
4. 2 1/4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
5. 2 1/4 tablespoons diced red onions
6. 1 lime
7. 3/4 teaspoon oregano, crushed
8. salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Scoop the avocado out of the skin into a bowl.
2. Coarsely mash with fork or potato masher.
3. Add all other ingredients except the lime juice.
4. Lightly blend – authentic guac is chunky, not pureed.
5. Squeeze in lime juice, mix gently and taste for seasoning adjustments.
