Ingredients for 2 servings:
1. 4 slices firm bread
2. 4 teaspoons raspberry preserves
3. 2 ounces very thinly sliced low-fat smoked ham
4. 2 slices lowfat swiss cheese (2 ounces)
5. 1/4 cup 1% low-fat milk
6. 1 egg white
7. nonstick cooking spray
8. 1 teaspoon sifted powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Spread one side of each slice of bread with preserves.
2. Layer ham and cheese between the spread side of the bread slices.
3. In a shallow bowl or pie plate, beat together milk and egg white.
4. Coat a nonstick pan or griddle with cooking spray.
5. Heat over medium heat.
6. Dip each sandwich in milk mixture, turning to coat.
7. Place in pan; cook 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
9. Yield: 2 servings.
