Beef Stew With Beer (Crock Pot)

Ingredients for 6 servings:
1. 2 lbs stewing beef, cut in 1 inch cubes
2. 1/4 cup flour
3. 1 teaspoon salt
4. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
5. 3 slices bacon, diced
6. 12 small onions
7. 1 garlic clove, crushed
8. 1 lb mushroom, sliced
9. 1 (12 ounce) can beer
10. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
11. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
12. 1 teaspoon thyme
13. 1/2 teaspoon bay leaf, crumbled

Directions:
1. Mix flour, salt and pepper together and coat beef cubes.
2. Fry bacon until crisp. Discard fat.
3. Mix together beer and seasonings.
4. Place beef, bacon, garlic and onions in cooker. Pour liquid mixture over them.
5. cook on low for 10 hours or on high for 6 hours.
