Ingredients for 8 servings:
1. 1/2 lb lean pork, sliced thin
2. 2 tablespoons oil
3. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
5. 1 teaspoon ground ginger
6. 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
7. 3 cups Chinese cabbage, thinly sliced
8. chow mein noodles, for garnish
Directions:
1. In large saucepan, lightly brown pork in oil, stirring frequently. Stir in soy sauce, pepper and ginger.
2. Cook 5 minutes.
3. Add chicken broth; simmer 15 minutes.
4. Add cabbage and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
5. Garnish each serving with noodles.
