Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 lbs unpeeled medium raw shrimp
2. 8 ounces linguine or 8 ounces fettuccine pasta, uncooked
3. 1 cup butter
4. 8 garlic cloves, minced
5. 2 shallots, minced
6. 1/3 cup white wine
7. 3 tablespoons lemon juice
8. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
10. 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Directions:
1. Peel and devein shrimp and set aside.
2. Cook linguine or fettucine according to package directions. Place in a large bowl, keep warm and set aside.
3. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and shallots and cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until tender.
4. Add shrimp and cook over medium heat 3 to 5 mnutes or until shrimp turn pink. Add wine and remaining ingredients.
5. Pour shrimp mixture over pasta, tossing to blend.
6. Serve immediately.
