Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 lbs big fat fresh raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2. 1 large habanero pepper, stem removed,chopped
3. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
4. 1 1/2 tablespoons onions, chopped
5. 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
6. 2 teaspoons reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce
7. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
8. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
9. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
11. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
12. bamboo skewer
13. 2 cloves garlic, more to taste
Directions:
1. Wash the shrimp, drain and place on skewers 4-6 per skewer.
2. Sauté onions and garlic in butter, remove for heat and place in blender.
3. Add cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice pepper, cumin, brown sugar and the habaneros with seeds; blend till smooth.
4. Brush onto the shrimp skewers and let marinate for 30-60 minutes in fridge.
5. Start grill and cook till opaque and slightly crispy.
6. Dust with paprika and serve.
